Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have been a principal investigator of several CDC and NIH grants that examine issues related to infectious diseases focused specifically in minority communities, including conducting the first empirical test of a model of the role of existing disparities in exposure, susceptibility and access to care in influenza. With my colleague, Dr. Kumar, we have also examined issues related to disparities in influenza planning in India and globally.
