Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: As Director of Cardiovascular and School Health at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health for the past 15 years, I have focused on supporting and evaluating policy, system, and environmental changes that increase physical activity among youth and adults in Los Angeles County. Some of my focus areas include increasing the quantity and quality of physical education in schools and promoting community use of school recreational facilities after school hours (shared use).
