I have been an active advocate for elder rights since 2010, when my mom was a victim of horrific abuse. I co-founded the Coalition for Elder & Dependent Adult Rights. We conducted the first national study of elder abuse prevalence across all populations. Our data will inform public policy for the coming decades.
