Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: As director of the Bureau of Child, Adolescent and Family Health at the Boston Public Health Commission I oversee Boston’s Healthy Start, Healthy Baby/Healthy Child and Early Childhood Mental Health programs, along with the city’s school-based health centers, school health education, youth development, and community and domestic violence prevention programs. These issues are related to questions of stress, trauma and health that are addressed by the ACE study which is the topic of this session.
