I formerly worked as a Sickle Cell Disease Education Specialist during early part of my health career. I have been a member of APHA since 1979. In addition to frequently moderating scientific sessions I also served as the program planner and organizer for the Black Caucus of health Workers, where I was responsible for organizing the BSHW scientific sessions.
