Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am a general internist who provides adult primary care and conducts research on the socio-cultural and environmental determinants in diet-related chronic diseases in minority and immigrant groups, particularly among Asian Americans and in aging populations. My research program aims to design and test innovative interventions that bridge the clinical and community settings to address modifiable risk factors for diet-related chronic diseases and to explore how age, immigration, language, culture and communication impact these factors.
