This sector will feature presentations which discuss the crucial role played by family planning in improving the maternal and child health indicators in a country. In addition the gaps and the cultural , socio economic barriers which are contributors to the unmet need of contraception will be discussed.
Session Objectives: Discus the importance of family planning in improving reproductive health of women Identify strategies to improve access to family planning in rural areas.
