Healthy People 2020 marks the fourth iteration of this national initiative to monitor the health of the nation. One of the goals of Healthy People 2020 is to reduce health disparities and achieve health equity for all Americans. Oral Health is one of 42 topic areas within this national framework.
This session will focus on highlighting four (4) topic areas, oral health (periodontal), oral cancer, tobacco use and obesity.
