This session focuses upon strategies employed and lessons learned from authors of articles written by collaborative international teams published in the Maternal and Child Health Journal. Lead authors from three papers share how their papers were conceived, written, submitted, revised, and published. Presentations emphasize pathways to publication, challenges and facilitators for creating a successful international collaboration paper.

Identify author strategies for conceiving an international project and writing a manuscript for publication
Describe the story behind writing and publishing international papers
Explain collaboration with others in shaping an article for publication
List lessons-learned from the MCHJ Authorship experience
