The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Environmental Protection Agency and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences each have played a unique but important role in advancing the field of environmental health. You’ll hear from Agency leaders on how their respective organizations have address challenges of the past and the new challenges they face today. The presenters will also address priorities that drive the work of their Agency, and how it may contribute to the advancing environmental health sciences.
Session Objectives: Discuss past environmental health challenges. Identify today’s environmental health challenges and how the CDC, EPA and NIEHS are working to address these challenges.
