CALL FOR ABSTRACTS — APHA 2023 Annual Meeting and Expo

Foot and Ankle Health

Meeting theme: "Creating the Healthiest Nation: Overcoming Social and Ethical Challenges"

Submission Deadline: Friday, March 31, 2023

The Foot and Ankle Health section of the American Public Health Association invites the submission of abstracts for presentation at the 2023 Annual Meeting in Atlanta, GA. We will again be considering proposals for "coordinated talks" from seasoned researchers. These talks will provide an opportunity for established research groups to highlight their recent work and discuss more than a single project per scientific session. As always, scientific abstracts from residents, students, fellows and new professionals are also highly encouraged (15 minute talks). While topics on access to foot and ankle care have been given preference in the past, any topics that touch on the intersection of lower extremity care and public health will be considered.

  • All foot/ankle public health related topics
  • All foot/ankle public policy related topics
  • Topics pertaining to foot/ankle epidemiology in the US and abroad

Please note:
      1. Abstracts should be no more than 250 words
      2. All presenters must be Individual members of APHA in order to present
      3. All presenters must register for the meeting
      4. Abstracts cannot be presented or published in any journal prior to the APHA Annual Meeting
      5. If submitting a proposal for a coordinated talk, please reference both the published and unpublished original research you intend to highlight, and indicate how much time is needed (30 min. max)
