This session will explore the enduring impact of trauma passed down through generations, focusing on its effects on women, families, and children. This transformative discussion will dive into how historical and cultural traumas influence present-day challenges, while also highlighting the resilience and adaptive strategies that emerge within these communities. Our panelists will discuss the psychological, social, and biological mechanisms of transgenerational trauma, and how resilience can be nurtured to break cycles of harm. Attendees will gain insights into therapeutic approaches, community support systems, and policies that can foster healing and empowerment across generations.
