The American Public Health Association is looking for moderators for the APHA 2026 Annual Meeting and Expo.
The theme of the meeting is Together We Thrive: Health Across the Lifespan
APHA is seeking moderators for oral and roundtable sessions. See moderator guidelines for more information.
General Information
Registration: While Moderators do not have to be a member of APHA, they are required to be registered for the meeting.

Moderator Sign-Up Instructions
- Scroll below and select an APHA program.
- Click the button to start your submission.
- If you are redirected to a login page, please create an APHA account before completing the moderator submission form.
- You will be required to select up to 3 sessions that would be of interest to you to moderate.
- You will also be required to complete a conflict-of-interest form. This is a requirement by the Continuing Education Credentialing Bodies, and APHA must adhere to this requirement to obtain continuing education credit for Annual Meeting sessions.
- Deadline to sign up is Wednesday, August 28th.
- The program planner of your section will review your information and assign you to a session no later than September 30.
- You will receive an email with instructions and deadlines moving forward.
Please note: There is no guarantee that all requests to moderate a session will be approved as this will depend on the number of available openings.
