273027 Million Hearts: The new public health—Rewiring for the futureThursday, June 28, 2012
: 8:30 AM - 8:50 AM
This session will focus on Million Hearts, an HHS national initiative co-led by CMS and CDC and executed by a host of private and public partners with an explicit goal to prevent a million heart attacks and strokes in five years. While the goal helps focus and accelerate the effort, the pathways to achieve the goal are as varied, complementary, and creative as the organizations that have joined. The initiative, even in its first six months, shows the power of partnerships to accomplish together what no single organization can do alone.
