In response to this ironic fact, the Health Care Without Harm campaign was born in 1996. This presentation will provide an overview of the purpose and structure of this international grassroots campaign, and the goals and methods used in seeking to transform the health care industry and its practices.

Learning Objectives: 1) Describe the ways in which the health care industry can be made more environmentally responsible. 2) Assess the need for an international grassroots campaign to transform the health care industry. 3) Evaluate the successes of the Health Care Without Harm campaign and identify future goals
