Strengthening Outreach Education Practice

In response to the approaches used in Massachusetts to enhance the work of Community Health Workers, Helen Rodrigues-Trias will discuss and highlight commonalities and opportunities that provide ideal platforms for the work of strengthening outreach education practice. She will focus on policy concerns of community health workers in California, sharing possible strategies for the development of a national plan of action for supporting the work of community health workers and stabilizing the field of outreach education.

Learning Objectives: a) Participants will learn about the commonalities and opportunities that provide ideal platforms for strengthening outreach education practice. b) Participants will discuss possible strategies for the development of a national plan of action to support the work of Community Health Workers and stabilizing the field of outreach education
