How do consumers define quality of care?

Participants in a quality of care study who are Medicaid beneficiaries and who are treated for schizophrenia were interviewed, using open-ended unstructured interviews, to learn more about how consumers of mental health services evaluate the care they receive. This presentation will provide preliminary results from qualitative analysis.

Learning Objectives: To learn how to interview mental health consumers about the quality of their care and to report the findings of some interviews
