Injured Workers' Perceptions of Pain and Functional Outcomes after Injury

Available information regarding the injured workers' perspective on outcomes after a work injury is limited. This paper discusses work of the California Division of Workers' Compensation to develop a survey to assess injured workers' satisfaction with medical care and perspective on outcomes. The authors discuss some of the methodological challenges associated with this work.
