Learning Objectives: The presenter will describe the development and implementation of an elementary school-based asthma prevention, education, and management program developed through collaboration with community environmental health, non-profit agencies, and public health partners. Participants will be able to identify appropriate community collaborators in a school health project; Participants will describe the important steps in program design, implementation, and evaluation for a school health project. Participants will list common asthma triggers and key prevention strategies. Participants will be able to list the components of a comprehensive asthma management and reduction strategy. Participants will be able to identify indicator measures to determine the success of a prevention program
