National Alcohol Screening Day: Implications for Treatment Services

Learning Objectives: CSAT's goal for NASD 2000 is to increase participation in NASD 2000 of special and minority populations by reaching a great number of treatment services constituents and community groups serving these populations. Data will be presented describing the institutional profile of the screening sites. The policy implications of the referral patterns following a positive screen based on teh institutional and individual profile on treatment services will be presented. To present NASD's effectiveness in moving people with a positive alcohol screen from screening to assessment and into the alcohol treatment system
