Longitudinal Study of Cohort Receiving Acupuncture/ AIDS CARE

This session will discuss results of a follow-up study conducted using medical record review on treatment outcomes of a group of 63 female clients. The group consists of women receiving acupuncture treatment from between 3 months to several years and these clients were currently being treated sometime during the 1999 calendar year. Favorable treatment outcomes have been noted in the treatment of neuro-muscular conditions and neuropathy, as well as in gynecological conditions, stress, and medication-related side-effects.
