This presentation will discuss activities of the United Auto Worker's Center for Community Health Care Initiatives to improve access to and quality of health care. This union effort includes developing community coalitions and community centers, promoting cooperation and collaboration among providers, improving access, establishing best practices and standards of care, and encouraging appropriate utilization of health care services.
