This presentation will address the challenges of sanctions to health and human rights professionals on a global basis, and its relevance to their everyday lives and work.

Learning Objectives: 1. Relate the idea of social justice to the framework of international human rights 2. identify the principal areas in which the human rights framework can make a positive contribution to improving public health 3. Demonstrate the ways in which international human rights concerns relate to domestic health policy and practice
