Comprehensiveness of reproductive health care in Guatemalan health centers

This paper estimates the probability that women in the post-partum period receive different reproductive health services and information when they attend a health center in the area of Quezaltenango, in Guatemala. Services studied include family planning, breast feeding, immunizations, Pap test, breast examination and STD prevention and diagnosis.

The data presented comes from exit interviews conducted in health centers and posts in the Department of Quezaltenango, in Guatemala.

Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, participants 1) will be able to define comprehensiveness of reproductive health care; and 2) will be able to recommend changes in screening practices of primary health care providers in Guatemala
