Prevention of low birth weight and infant mortality among Latinos: Learning from high-risk subgroups

Learning Objectives: 1. Learn about a state-wide system of coordinated care in Arizona that serves critically ill Mexican American newborns and Mexican American women with high-risk pregnancies. 2. Identify newborn and maternal statistics of enrollment status, service utilization and clinical conditions among Whites versus Mexican Americans and within Mexican Americans. 3. Learn the implications of the results for the prevention of infant mortality among Mexican American subpopulations
