| There are several exciting policy initiatives at the national level that affect the health issues of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders: White House Initiative on AAPIs, Race and Health Disparities Initiative and Healthy People 2010. This session will present (1) progress of these and other important health policy issues at the national and local level; (2) how it affects AAPIs and (3) strategize how APHA, its members and others can be involved to ensure continued progress of these initiatives |
