Cancer Control for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the New Millennium

The purpose of this session is to report on progress in cancer prevention and control for Asian Americans since the 1998 national "Cancer Concerns for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders" conference. Specifically, panelists will discuss the state of cancer prevention and control efforts among Asian Americans, describe new national infrastructures in place to address cancer prevention and control research and training efforts, progress in cancer risk factor reduction, and an emerging national research agenda for Asian Americans in cancer control. Opportunities to address cancer control for Asian Americans have never been greater in the new millennium
