This session will investigate several aspects of the incremental progress that LGBT individuals and communities have achieved in different environments to transition from a condition of marginalization to the societal mainstream. This transition has not been without its difficulties, nor has it been universal or complete. Within this session, presentations will focus on gay and lesbian parenting, training health care providers to meet the needs of LGBT populations, and the different experiences of two Master of Public Health Programs in addessing the concerns of LGBT students | ||||
