Lowell Reed Lecture/Spiegelman and Statistics Section Awards

This session is a multipurpose session. First, the Spiegelman Award is presented to a young researcher who 1) is under the age of 30, and 2) has made significant contributions to statistics and public health. Second, the three annual Statistics Section awards are presented, one to a section member from government, one to a section member from industry, and one to a section member from education. Finally, a talk is given on an area of statistical or biostatistical research by an eminent statistician
