Adolescent Health Issues
The purpose of this session is to demonstrate some of the many areas in which the health of adolescents is affected. These areas include: community based public health interventions, public school initiatives, substance use, organ donation, access to care, suburban vs urban community, and parenting skills.
Learning Objectives: 1. Understand the importance of community relationships in the provision of adolescent health services. 2. Understand the relationship between adolescent behavior/attitudes and healthy lifestyle.
