Children's Environmental Health: Childhood Asthma - Surveillance, Exposure, Innovative Community Outreach and Lessons Learned
Astham is one of the greatest environmental problems in the United States and it continues to impact the health of children everywhere. New programs are meeting the challenge of asthma and the lessons of these projects can assist others working on this important issue.
Learning Objectives: 1. Highlight innovative approaches to identify communities with high rates of asthma. 2. Evaluate potential risk factors for asthma in inner city neighborhoods. 3. Demonstrate effective ways to meet the challenge of asthma in rural commmunities.
