The purpose of this session is to give the participant an overview of various topics in environmental health, including waterborne diseases, indoor air pollution, and lead hazard exposures. In addition, information on the diagnosis and management of diseases and conditions resulting from exposure will be presented and the challenges facing public health professionals and at-risk communities. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this session, participants will: (1) gain an awareness of various topics in environmental health, including waterborne diseases, indoor air pollution, and lead hazard exposures; (2) be provided an overview of the diagnosis and management of diseases and conditions resulting from exposure; and (3) become aware of the challenges facing public health professionals and at-risk communities. | |||
