| This session will address the interests and challenges of home health agencies in addressing public health needs. Presenters will discuss population-focused versus patient-focused practice, the nursing shortage, and organizational issues. They will also provide innovative approaches to improving both patient care and public health outcomes. | |||
| Learning Objectives: 1. Discuss the roles of public health and home health nurses in achieving community health outcomes; 2. Articulate home care organizational attributes which support staff and facilitate health care in today's environment; and 3. Discuss home care programs, services and issues which address public health needs | |||
