This session will begin with the immediate challenges facing public health nursies in complex humanitarian settings. It will then describe a world view of public health and explore perspectives on international and global health models. Invited international students will discuss their goals, educational experiences and future plans within this context. | |||
Learning Objectives: 1. Analyze perspectives on global versus international approaches to health care Discuss a world view of public health nursing roles and resonsibilities. 2. Describe complex humanitarian emergency and transitional settings and PHN skillls for this field of work 3.
