Partnerships and Programs for Children's Health
This session focuses on the wellbeing of school-age children. Presenters will provide research findings on health risks in early adolescents and on continuing education needs of school nurses. Others will discuss innovative school system and community partnership programs.
Learning Objectives: 1. Recognize risky behaviors and experiences in urban 7th students 2. Analyze partnerships in developing programs to improve health and wellbeing in school-age children 3. Recognize continuing education issues for school nurses
