HHS Advisory Committee on Minority Health Seeks Public Comment The HHS Advisory Committee on Minority Health advises the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services regarding the health of racial and ethnic minority groups and on the development of goals and specific program activities of the Office of Minority Health. The Committee consists of 12 voting members. Meetings are held approximately four times each year at the call of the Chairperson with advance approval of a Government official. Further information on the HHS Advisory Committee on Minority Health can be found at http://www.omhrc.gov/acmh The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Advisory Committee on Minority Health will meet to solicit public comments on Wednesday, November 19, 2003 from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm at the San Francisco Marriott in the Yerba Buena Ballroom, Salon 14/15. This is another opportunity for you to provide comments on minority related public health issues. Public comments will be heard by the committee. Both written and oral comments are welcomed. Oral comments will be limited to three minutes. Written comments may be submitted in advance of and in addition to oral comments.
