The theme of this year's Spirit of 1848 Caucus integrative session is: connections between urban planning, public health, and social justice. The purpose of our integrative session is to address a particular public health issue in relation to the 3 foci of our Caucus: the politics of public health data, progressive pedagogy, and the social history of public health. By making these connections, within and across the session's presentations, we hope to provide a forum for critical reflection that can usefully inform our work linking issues of social justice and public health.

Learning Objectives: "At the conclusion of the session, the participant (learner) in this session will be able to

• Articulate links between urban planning, public health, and social justice
• Articulate why it is important to consider public health issues jointly in relation to the politics of public health data, progressive pedagogy, and the social history of public health.
