This presentation will review the short history and accomplishments of the Schools Committee of the federal interagency Task Force on Risks to Children's Health and outline EPA's new efforts to develop guidelines on school environmental issues.

Learning Objectives:

• Participants will become familiar with the complex array of federal programs in place and the potential for inter and intra agency coordinated programs, and challenges will be highlighted in reaching low income schools serving the highest risk children.
