This presentation will discuss the Safe and Drug-Free Schools program. This program oversees the National Clearinghouse on Educational Facilities, which tackles student safety and violence, as well as emergency preparedness, and other, general facility issues.

• Objectives include developing an understanding of how the education system historically responds to facility issues and the challenges that children's environmental health present in this context.
