Redefining Health Disparities in the Majority-Minority State of California

With Latinos being a sizable portion of California’s population, the health disparities that exist within and among the Latino community becomes a pressing health concern. The presenter will discuss the status of Latino health in California as well as policy and programmatic efforts to reduce and eliminate disparities. Further, this presentation will offer some recommendations on future work that may advance the effort to eliminate health disparities.
