A Long Trip to Health Equity; another journey for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders

The Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AAPI) population in the United States is very diverse and rapidly growing. Various factors contribute to the on-going health disparities experienced in this community. The presenter will share a model and the national, state, and local strategies AAPCHO, its members, and other community health centers are involved in to address the health needs of their community, including policy/advocacy, legislative, and research efforts.
