Implications of the 2004 Elections for Public Health

Our public health system and its future is one of the important areas at stake in the 2004 elections. What do the election results mean for our public health system, especially related to environmental health? This presenter and discussant will talk about the overall elections results related to the hopes for public health protections in the future. She will reflect on such issues as public health infrastructure, bioterrorism preparedness, nationwide health tracking and biomonitoring.
