The quality of leadership in public health is dependent on the requirement of a specific certification and credentialing process. The identification of core competencies that can be acquired and measured is the challenge for health care professionals.
Learning Objectives: Describe the core competencies needed for certification and credentialing, and discuss methodologies, frameworks and tools that support workforce competency.
