GIS Facilitating Health Planning and Evaluation
This session will present the development and uses of GIS to facilitate planning and evaluation in public health programs.
Learning Objectives: Participants will learn: 1)How GIS can facilitate the planning of community based interventions; 2)To understand the spatial distribution of various determinants of health; 3)To identify components of GIS applicable to policy evaluation studies; nad 4)To articulate GIS data requirements.
