Cancer: Identification and Prevention Strategies
This session will: Define survivorship as a unique experience; disscuss the disparities in mortality from colorectal cancer; list parameters that can be used to monitor a smoking cessation program; and describe the need for effective partnerships to promote environmental change for improved nutrition, physical activity and food security of low-income individuals and families.
Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to: 1)Define survivorship as a unique experience; 2)Be aware of the disparities in mortality from colorectal cancer; and 3)List three parameters that can be used to monitor a smoking cessation program.
