While various groups may be identified as being at higher risk than others for HIV/AIDS, HIV/AIDS affects the whole population. The panelists in this session will discuss research and interventions in specific communities, examining characteristics of each that make for unique challenges and solutions for health promotion activities in these communities. | |||
Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will be able to describe HIV/AIDS risk behaviors and knowledge among specific populations and identify programs that work with particular communities around HIV/AIDS, in accordance with the learning objectives of the individual presentations. | |||
