This presentation will illustrate how racial/ethnic disparities take shape as early and even prior to adolescence, and the particular role structural racism plays in diminishing the sexual health of youth of color. Comments will draw from CARTA's emerging structural racism framework and will highlight why addressing disparities among our youngest citizens should be a critical part of a national research agenda. on eliminating health disparities.
