Unions: Addressing the concerns of nursing faculty

Issues facing nursing faculty in consolidated community and technical colleges will be addressed by a nursing instructor and member of Minnesota State College Faculty, a statewide local union covering the 39 public two-year colleges in Minnesota and an affiliate of Education Minnesota, National Education Association/American Federation of Teachers. These issues include scheduling, pay and market stress, as well as the effect on student intern placement. Actions taken by the union to address these concerns will be discussed.
