Issues Relating to the Cultural Competency of the Public Health Workforce and Partnership Organizations
Abstracts in the session will articulate four unique traits of Black Americans that must be positively impacted in order to improve healthcare delivery; present the unique multi-tribal needs of urban American Indians and the development of a culturally competent care system in the hospital setting.
Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to articulate four unique traits of Black Americans that must be positively impacted in order to improve healthcare delivery; understand the unique multi-tribal needs of urban American Indians and understand the development of a culturally competent care system in the hospital setting.
