Asthma presents particular public health challenges due to its significant morbidity and mortality, as well as the intersection of asthma and smoking. Panelists in this session will describe specific interventions to control asthma, as well as programs to address tobacco use and to address links between asthma and smoking. Throughout the presentations, speakers will describe particular populations and communities that may be at particular risk or face particular challenges in improving their health. | |||
